The Millwheel Gallery is located in the centre of Porlock, a thriving village which is at the heart of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Over the past 30 years the Gallery has earned an excellent reputation for the quality and choice of it`s original paintings, limited-edition prints and bespoke framing service. Richard Stenner has owned the Gallery for twenty years and along with his team pride themselves on offering a  personal service ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Gallery specialises in land and seascapes of the local area by notable artists such as Barry Watkin, Sidney Perrin, Anne Cotterill, Ken Hildrew and many others.

The Millwheel Gallery for original paintings, prints, jewellery and giftwareIn 1999 the Gallery moved to it`s present larger premises to accommodate a greater diversity of art to include works by National and International artists such as Doug Hyde, Shree Valentine-Daines, Pam Carter and Fabian Perez.

Specialist exhibitions  are held throughout the year culminating in a major show of work by Artists of the St.Petersburg Academy of Fine Art, usually held in May.

The Gallery also stocks a varied selection of handmade jewellery, silverware,glass and bronze pieces all carefully sourced to offer our customers the greatest choice of individual items from around the UK and beyond.


St James Art & Interiors

The Millwheel Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a new gallery in Taunton to be named 'St James Art & Interiors' which can be found at 6 St James Street, Taunton.  Tel:  (01823) 339202.

The new Gallery which will open on Friday 7th September will showcase fine art, framing, furniture, fabrics, rugs, lamps, cushions and cards.  A full framing, curtain making, upholstery and antique furniture restoration service will be available.
